I’ve got to confess that I thought it isn’t easy at all. And honestly my thinking was that who will view ads and purchase stuff online through a mobile phone. But this course has made me look like a fool.

Quite frankly, the interviews that I got from Howie and Mark with the successful mobile affiliate marketers who are earning a full time income using the OfferMobi platform literally changed my mind about mobile marketing for good.

Here’s how the system works:

Firstly you need to get an affiliate account setup with OfferMobi. Once you are on the inside of the network you need to choose the offer you want to promote. And this is crucial step as the offer you promote can directly ensure how much you earn. So Liane, who is the Affiliate teacher for this course will take you through the things you need to keep in mind when finalizing on an offer to promote.

Next you need to setup an Ad network so that you can run your ads. Now in this step, you will be taken through the Operator/Device/Publisher compatibility issues that might come up. What do I mean? Ok, now you may decide to run an ad campaign but there could be a possibility that a person who is trying to view your ad through his Blackberry Torch on an AT&T network is unable to view it. So this course provides you with the compatible combinations. There is also a video that will talk about what parameters to track for your ads using an Ad network and how to split-test your campaigns.

These are all the steps that are there in the system to earn from it. And it is quite simple. You can just follow the system over and over again to multiply your income. This is how most of the mobile affiliate marketers do and this is how you will earn full time income.

Now, I will give you some good and some bad points that I think about the course. Of course, it’s not a perfect course as none of them are! So let me start off with…


The Bad Points

  • It’s a video course, which is a good and a bad thing. The bad thing about it is that you will have to login to your account every time you need to watch the videos. There is no option to download the video and keep watching it offline. However, I just hope that they add this feature pretty soon.
  • You will have to spend money in order to make money. Ad networks will charge you to run ad campaigns. However what I found was that firstly these do get highly targeted traffic to your campaigns and secondly these networks don’t charge much like Adwords does. I mean to run a successful campaign on Adwords you may need close to $400 – 500 but for these ads a budget of $30-40 is sufficient.

The Good Points

  • The course takes you step by step with the very basics to the advance level. It assumes that you are new to the mobile affiliate marketing world by giving away a complete module on the terms you should be familiar with in this market, the way mobile cpa marketing works etc. If you not new to mobile affiliate networks and are just looking to get some new techniques on generating traffic and sales then you may want to skip the first module.
  • Every module comes with very detailed videos. You will also get the content in the form of pdfs. The idea is to cater to all kinds of people as some like to look at the videos and some like to read from a pdf.
  • The program comes with a lot of complementary tools (over 10 tools) that are an added bonus to your mobile ad campaigns. The tools include a mobile campaign reviewer that allows you to view your campaign in any desired phone model you want so that you don’t have to worry about format mismatches or improper display of your ads. Other very useful tools such as Mobile Google vs Desktop Tool, Compare 4 Mobile Device compare tool, 3 Browsers Preview compare tool are also included.
  • Over 10 different Bonus Documents are also included such as Mobile landing Page, Mobile Banner Guide, Mobile Adwords Guide etc.

Last Word

And so we come to the end of my Mobile Affiliate Profits Review. Overall, this is one of the most impressive and complete mobile affiliate marketing products I’ve come across in a long time.

I think you will have to look past all the flashy sales page about the ‘Mobile affiliates this and Mobile Affiliates that’, and when you do, you will essentially have an amazing, unique and powerful system that will surely prove to be a winner for any mobile marketer with any number of years experience with him.

Mobile Marketing – Is it a hot market?

I will start off by answering the question – what is mobile marketing?

Mobile Marketing can be referred to as two types of marketing: first the marketing done for and from the mobile phones and the other is the marketing done while moving or in a moving fashion like moving billboards or mobile road shows. The mobile marketing system that we are referring to in this post is of the first type.

The world is booming with mobile users. Just to present you with some numbers; the world population is over 6.93 billion and in 2010 UN indicated that 67% of the world’s population is mobile subscribers i.e. two-thirds of the total which means around 4.64 billion mobile users are there in the world. That’s a huge number but can you make money in this market?

Well, consumer mobile behavior certainly points out that you can! Consumers in US and Europe are using mobile browsers for banking, travel, shopping, news, video and other purposes. This number is increasing by the day not just in US and Europe but throughout the world. The amount of transactions done using mobile phones will be over $240 billion in 2011 and this could be over $1 trillion in 2016. This states that people are spending money using their phones and with the subscribers increasing, the amounts spent over phones are bound to increase.

Companies are increasing their mobile advertising budgets every year as the consumers are increasing with a double digit growth rate. The mobile advertising spending will surpass $6.5 billion by 2012. SMS mobile marketing is still a king of mobile messaging with estimates of over 8 Trillion text messages that will be sent in 2011 alone. But the companies are finding new ways of attracting users on mobile arena.  Clearly the money is there in this market. And when the pie is so large, a small share of that pie can make a huge difference in mine and yours life.

Using mobile marketing has its own benefits. You can reach out to the people more easily with mobile phones than with a computer as the phones are within an arm’s reach of a consumer most of the time. Moreover, the marketing campaigns can be launched for a specific geographic location using the phone numbers as a segregation tool. And the audience can be reached any time due to the always-on nature of mobile devices.
